Our Team
Craig S. Costello, CPA, CGMA
Craig joined Brantner, Thibodeau, & Associates after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maine in 1994. Craig’s areas of expertise are municipal and non-profit auditing, individual and business taxation, and QuickBooks consulting. He has supervised audit engagements of organizations requiring 400 hours or more.
Craig currently serves as the engagement partner of various municipal and non-profit audits. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). He is the coordinator of the firm’s membership in the AICPA’s Government Audit Quality Center (GAQC).
Craig is a volunteer and officer of Bangor Breakfast Rotary and Maine Jr. Black Bears’ Youth Hockey. He enjoys traveling, skiing, investing, and the occasional round of golf. Craig and his wife Kelli reside in Veazie with their daughter Leah and son Griffin.
Christopher S. Madden, CPA, CGMA
Chris began his career in 1994, during his final year at the University of Maine, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. Chris’s areas of expertise are in business and individual taxation, review, and compilations of financial statements, new business setup, and QuickBooks consulting. Many of his clients are in the logging, trucking, rental, real estate, retail, and franchise restaurant industries.
Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). He is the coordinator of the firm’s membership in the AICPA’s Tax Section and the AICPA’s Private Companies Practice Section.
Chris is a member of the Board of Directors for the Greenbush School Department and volunteers to coach youth sports. He loves to travel and participate in outdoor activities. Chris and his wife Kassidy reside in Greenbush with their sons Dylan and Colin and daughter Haylie.
